Shriya Saran, who is regarded as one of the most talented actors in Indian cinema is back in films with her upcoming film Gamanam after taking a brief hiatus.
Shriya Saran will be joining hands with debutante director Sujana Rao and the film is titled Gamanam. The film is touted to be a real life drama and it will be a pan Indian entertainer, which will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
Today, on Shriya Saran’s birthday, director Krish, who has cast Shriya in a few of his previous films has launched the first look poster of Shriya from the film. True to the character, Shriya can be seen clad in a saree and looks dejected in the first look poster.

Ace writer Sai Madhav Burra pens dialogues, while maestro Ilayaraja is composing the music. Gnana Shekar V.S., besides cranking the camera, is also bankrolling the project in collaboration with Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu. The entire shooting part of Gamanam has been wrapped up and post-production works are underway. While other cast and crew details will be revealed soon, Krish seems to have let the cat out of the bag by wishing not just Shriya Saran but also Nithya Menen, Shiva Kandukuri and Priyanka Jawalkar best for the film.
