Badminton player Jwala Gutta and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal, who have been in a relationship for a some time now, surprised everyone by announcing their engagement. Today, on Jwala Gutta celebrates her 37th birthday and to make it all special and cherished for life, boyfriend Vishnu Vishal put a ring on her hand.
Vishnu Vishal took to his social media handle to reveal that they were engaged and that it was an impromptu event. He added that one of his friends had gone to the length of arranging a ring in the middle of the night. He posted a cosy picture of themselves by showing off the ring and wrote, “Happy birthday @Guttajwala New start to LIFE.. Lets be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around.. Need all your love n blessings guys.. #newbeginnings thank you @basanthjain for arranging a ring in d middle of d night.. (sic.)”
Jwala Dutt recently opened up about their engagement in an interview and said, “We will be meeting our parents today. Usually, I celebrate my birthday in a grand manner. Even if I don’t have a party, my dad ensures he throws me one. But this time, we wanted it to be a quiet affair because of the pandemic. But it tuned out to be another big occasion. I think celebrations never stop on my birthday (sic.)”

On the film front, Vishnu Vishal will be seen playing the lead in the Tamil film FIR, directed by Manu Anand. The film also stars Reba Monica John, Manjima Mohan, Raiza Wilson and Gautham Menon playing important roles. He will be seen in the Rana Daggubati starrer Aranya, release of which was indefinitely postponed due to the lockdown.
