Aditi Rao Hydari’s role in V was kept under wraps till the last day, leaving fans wondering. The last minute romantic picture with Nani came as a surprise and created curiosity. When the movie was released and Aditi’s role was revealed, everyone loved her character Saheba.
While V is a dark thriller, it also shows two beautiful love stories between Sudheer Babu and Nivetha Thomas, Nani and Aditi Rao Hydari. The actress states that given a chance between different genres of films, she’d choose love stories over anything else. “I am a sucker for them. I am always open to challenging characters but personally, I enjoy acting in love stories. It gives me such satisfaction. My debut Sammohanam remains special for the same reason. Period dramas are another genre I love to act in. But irrespective of the genre and screen-time of my characters, I ensure they remain memorable (sic.)”
Aditi also said that whenever theatres reopen, she would definitely want to watch V on the big-screen after the pandemic crisis ends.
V was initially set to release in April but due to the theatres being shut, the film was released on Amazon Prime Videos on September 5th. The film also stars Nani as a ruthless killer, Sudheer Babu as a cop and Nivetha Thomas as a crime writer. V is directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and has been receiving good response from the audience.
