The older Rajinikanth gets, the bigger his stardom becomes and his movies always have a larger than life feeling mostly due to his enormous popularity and charismatic screen presence. Another such film is Rajinikanth’s upcoming star-studded film Annaatthe. The film is one of the most awaited and anticipated films in Tamil and Telugu. The film has started shooting since December 2019 and were supposed to wrap up the shoot in April. However, due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the production work had to be stopped.
The latest update about the film is that the team of Annaatthe has decided to resume the shoot from November. Reportedly, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh will resume shooting from November while Rajinikanth will join the sets in December. Sources also say that the team is currently busy erecting a huge set in the outskirts of Chennai.

Annaatthe was initially scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2020. Now, things got postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Now, the makers are planning to complete the shooting of the film by early next year as they might release the film in summer 2021.
Annaatthe is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars many popular actors including Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles.
