Samantha Akkineni is making her debut on the OTT platform with the most anticipated web series The Family Man, season 2. After a long quarantine break, the actress is back to work for The Family Man 2.
Samantha Akkineni took to her Instagram story and revealed that she is back to work. She shared a picture of a dubbing studio and wrote, “Dubbing for The Family Man season 2. You guys are in for a crazy ride.” She also thanked her directors Raj and D.K. for giving her the opportunity and said “@rajanddk thank you thank you thank you so much.”
The Family Man season 2, will feature Manoj Bajpai, Priyamani and other actors along with Samantha Akkineni. The Family Man told the story about a middle-class man covertly working as an intelligence officer at the National Intelligence Agency. According to the sources, The Family Man season 2 is likely to be out in October this year. However, there is no confirmation from the series creators or Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Samantha will also be seen sharing the screen space with Nayanthara in Director Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. She is reportedly in talks for the Telugu remake of the Kannada film, Dia and a biopic about the Kannada music artist Nagarathnamma. Samantha will also play the titular role in Ashwin Saravanan’s horror thriller.
