The Telugu remake of the Kannada hit film Love Mocktail starring Satyadev and Tamannaah Bhatia has been titled Gurthunda Seethakalam. The film is directed by Nagasekhar.
According to the reports, the filmmakers state the audio rights of the remake have already been sold for Rs. 75 lakh. Speaking about it to a leading daily, Nagasekhar said, “With Satyadev and Tamannaah acting in it, a lot of buzz has been generated. I received a lot of calls after the announcement, which makes me believe the audience is excited for the film (sic.)” M.M. Keeravani’s son Kala Bhairava is composing the music for Gurthunda Seethakalam. “We received a good price for the audio rights which makes us believe this film will be a success (sic.)”
Gurthunda Seethakalam is bankrolled by Director Nagasekhar along with Bhavana Ravi under Nagashekar Movies banner. The film tells the story of a man who rescues a woman and begins narrating her the story of his life, how he endured numerous heartbreaks to find true love. and Production: 1 Movies banner. The film is a story of a young guy who reminisces about his love life and the heartbreaks he endured in his quest to find his true love. The original film had Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj in the lead roles.

Gurthunda Seethakalam is now considered as one of the most awaited films as it has two most talented actors Satyadev and Tamannaah in the lead roles.
