Rajamouli was one of the first directors to resume the shooting works for his movie Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR.) His plan was to do a trial shoot for two days with the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, while following the safety guidelines laid down by the government. However, reports said Rajamouli was forced to cancel the two day shoot for RRR because of the sudden spike in the COVID-19 cases in Telangana State. Rajamouli had earlier released a teaser which gave us a glimpse into the character of Ram Charan’s Alluri Sitarama Raju on March 27th, which was the occasion of Ram Charan’s birthday.
Fans of RRR and Jr. NTR were eagerly waiting for a glimpse of Komaram Bheem on the occasion of the Young Tiger’s birthday. But the fans were in for disappointment as Rajamouli was unable to complete the teaser on time due to the lockdown. This left fans disgruntled and they have been pestering the makers behind RRR for a glimpse of Komaram Bheem. Rajamouli finally broke his silence about the first look for Komaram Bheem.

Speaking to a popular news daily Rajamouli said “Once the doctors give us a go ahead, we will resume the shoot in 2, 3 weeks. We need at least 10 to 15 days to shoot the required visuals for NTR’s Komaram Bheem teaser (sic.)” This means the teaser would be released only after September.
Ram Charan and Jr. NTR are the stars of RRR with Jr. NTR playing the role of Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan playing the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju. RRR also boasts some impressive names like Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Allison Doody and Ray Stevenson, who would be essaying pivotal supporting roles. M.M. Keeravani is composing the music while DVV Entertainments is producing the movie.
