Prasanth Varma, who is known for unusual scripts, is back once again with another script, which is a new concept that may resonate well with Telugu audiences. The movie is reportedly based on the current Coronavirus pandemic and has been titled as Zombie Reddy.
Now, the team of Prasanth Varma’s Zombie Reddy has a special tribute to Megastar Chiranjeevi right before his 65th birthday, which is on August 22. The special tribute video shows a man wearing a hoodie with Chiranjeevi’s zombie face on it. Sharing a glimpse of the tribute video on Twitter, Prashanth Varma wrote, “Birthday wishes to the icon of Telugu Film Industry @KChiruTweets sir. The song referenced in the poster is from Chiranjeevi’s 1985 film Donga. One of the numbers from the film titled Golimar, was a zombie theme, where Chiranjeevi donned zombie makeup with the trademark red jacket. The recreation is so famous, American dubstep producer Skrillex even sampled Golimaar in a mashup with his number Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, titled Scary Bolly Dub.
