The newlywed Rana Daggubati took up the Green India Challenge and planted saplings after being challenged by Shruti Haasan. He shared a photo of himself as he participated in the challenge and said this for the Adipurush Prabhas and rockstar Shruti Haasan. Rana further nominated everyone who follows him on his social media.

The Green India Challenge was started by MP Mr. Santosh Kumar and was kicked off by Prabhas this year and not soon after that, the challenge spread like wildfire with a large number of Tollywood celebrities taking up the challenge. Some of the celebrities who have taken up the challenge are Brahmanandam, Sharwanand, Samantha Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna.
Meanwhile, on August 8, Rana Daggubati married his long time girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj in an intimate affair at the Ramanaidu Studios. The pictures of the lovely couple were truly magical and went viral on all social media platforms.
On the work front, Rana Daggubati will be next seen in Aranya, where he will be seen as Bandev, who protects forests from illegal land poachers. Rana will also be seen in another upcoming movie Virata Parvam, which stars Sai Pallavi and Priyamani. Virata Parvam is said to be based on Naxalism which was prevalent in Andhra Pradesh during the 1990s and Rana will be seen as a Naxal leader.
