Prashanth Neel would not have imagined the kind of stardom he would achieve when he released his movie KGF: Chapter 1, in 2018. The movie stars Yash in the titular role as Rocky Bhai and tells the story of Rocky’s journey to becoming India’s biggest don. KGF: Chapter 1 was one of the biggest hits of 2018 and laid the groundwork for the sequel KGF: Chapter 2, which offers a conclusion to the journey of Rocky Bhai.
KGF: Chapter 2 was scheduled to release in October but, due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the release of KGF: Chapter 2 has been postponed. The film unit has another 25 days of shooting left and looks like the preparations for the shooting have begun. Director Prashanth Neel took to his Instagram handle and shared a few pictures from the shooting sets. The makers are preparing the sets according to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government.
Sharing the pictures, Prashanth Neel wrote, “#Shootsoon. Getting ready for the first line. #KGFChapter2 (sic.)” The picture shows Director Prashanth Neel along with other crew members of KGF2. It is also said that the team is planning to resume the shooting without Sanjay Dutt as he is currently on a three month break due to lung cancer.

The pan Indian film, KGF: Chapter 2 will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. The film features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Sreenidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in crucial roles.
