On Tuesday, August 18, Prabhas took the internet by storm by announcing his forthcoming mythological film Adipurush, with Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut. Ever since the official announcement has been made, several speculations regarding the leading lady and the antagonist’s role are going around tinsel town circles.
This latest buzz about Adipurush is very interesting as it claims that National Award winning actress Keerthy Suresh is likely to essay the role of the leading lady. If the ongoing reports are anything to go by, Keerthy will play the role of Sita and Prabhas will be seen in the role of Ram. It is said Om Raut recently narrated the script to Keerthy Suresh over the phone and she was impressed with her character in the film.
The makers of the film are planning to rope in many other actors from different lingual industries. However, nothing is finalised yet. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew is likely to be made by the end of the year.

Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic which revolves around the triumph of good over evil. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Ram is also addressed as Adi Purusha. The motion poster runs with the tagline ‘Celebrating the victory of good over evil.’ The big budget and multilingual project will be a 3D action drama released in Telugu, Hindi and dubbed in other South languages. Adipurush is expected to go on the floors in 2021 and will eye a 2022 release.
