Akhil Akkineni is known for his good looks and charming smile. He has garnered huge popularity with just three films in his career. Now, according to the latest buzz, the young actor is likely to collaborate with noted Director Surender Reddy for an action drama.
It is said Akhil and Nagarjuna both gave their nod to the film. A source close to Akhil said to a leading daily, “It is a slick action entertainer and will feature a new version of Akhil. The principal photography will commence by January February once life gets back to normal. The director is currently in pre production mode. The female lead and the remaining cast of the film will be finalised soon (sic.)”
Director Surender Reddy recently bagged a blockbuster with the historical action film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He is known for delivering one of the best stylish action dramas and his previous super hit films are Kick, Oosaravelli and Race Gurram.
On the work front, Akhil Akkineni will be next seen with Pooja Hegde in a romantic action drama titled Most Eligible Bachelor. Touted to be new age love story, the film is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and the release date is scheduled for Pongal 2021. GA2 Pictures and Vasu Varma are bankrolling the film jointly. Gopi Sundar is scoring the tunes.
