KGF: Chapter 2, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film was scheduled to hit the big screens on October 23, 2020, but has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent nationwide lockdown. Now, KGF 2 is all set to resume shooting next week after a long break.
Speaking about the shooting schedules of the film to a leading daily, Karthik Gowda, the Creative Executive Producer, of Hombale Films said, “There are 24 days of shooting left and we will resume it next week. We are looking to complete the film’s shoot before October (sic.)”
He also played down reports of Sanjay Dutt being hospitalised on Saturday. Karthik said, “He’s fine and resting and the news of his hospitalisation was blown out of proportion (sic.)”
Last week, Sanjay Dutt who is playing the antagonist role Adheera in KGF: Chapter 2, was hospitalised for breathlessness in Mumbai but has tested negative for the Coronavirus. However, he took rest for two days in the hospital and got discharged on Monday.

The film marks Sanjay Dutt’s entry into the South Indian film industry. His look was revealed on July 29 on the day of the actor’s birthday and it is inspired by the Vikings series. The pan Indian film, KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, this film features Yash, Sreenidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon will be seen in crucial roles.
