Plasma donors became an important aspect to fight the deadly virus. Celebrities are creating awareness about the plasma donors and the latest to join this charge is the Megastar Chiranjeevi. The actor felicitated plasma donors at a Cyberabad police commissioner office. The initiative begun by police has propelled 400 people to donate plasma to 252 COVID-19 patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjeevi said, “Plasma is the only solution until the vaccine is made available. Plasma donation as a ‘Sanjeevani’ in the pandemic, I urge people to know the importance of plasma donation and hope everyone comes forward to donate (sic.)”
The actor also said, “Your 500 ml plasma donation to a needy person, will not only save three lives, but also fill their families with happiness. While three needy persons will get the required RBC (Red Blood Cells), plasma, platelets, the donor can recover their plasma within 72 hours (sic.)”
On the work front, Chiranjeevi will commence working on Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva. Ram Charan is producing the movie under his Konidela Production Company banner and will also be appearing in an extended cameo role for the movie. Kajal Aggarwal will be paired opposite Chiranjeevi in this film. The actor will also be seen in the Telugu remake of Lucifer, which will be directed by Sujeeth
