Shruti Haasan flew to Hyderabad in May, after the travel ban between the states was lifted. The actress is quarantining alone in Hyderabad and is often spotted by the paparazzi while jogging on the streets. Shruti Haasan, who is also an active social media member, posts her workout and running regimen videos.
Speaking to a leading daily about her running routine amid the pandemic, Shruti said, “I run to stay fit, yes. But it’s also a part of my mental health exercise. I suffer from anxiety and I figured that regular exercise is the one thing that keeps it in check and keeps me grounded.”
Opening up about her mental health issues, the actress confesses there was a time when she wasn’t comfortable about addressing the topic. “I’ve always felt that talking about mental health issues will expose some sort of weakness within me or tell the world that I’m not adept at dealing with life. I’m talking about it now to spread awareness about it so that we can together break the stigma around mental health.”
On the work front, Shruti Haasan is waiting for the release of her upcoming movie Krack, where she will star alongside Ravi Teja. This movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Shruti will also be seen next in the Tamil film Lambaan, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film is written and directed by S.P. Jhananathan.
