The Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, was the biggest hit of 2019 and 2020. The film not only entered the Rs. 200 crore club but also smashed many records on the way. Irrespective of the language barrier, the blockbuster hit film and chartbusters were hugely loved by the audiences all over the world. From popular Bollywood Director Sanjay Gupta to actress Shilpa Shetty, Bollywood just couldn’t get over this film. Now, the news is that Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is all set to be remade in Hindi.
According to recent reports, popular actor Kartik Aaryan has already signed for the film. The latest news is the makers are planning to rope in Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor, for the female lead in the Hindi version. Both the actors proved their versatility in acting with many Bollywood films. Kartik Aaryan will step into the shoes of Allu Arjun’s character Bantu and Janhvi will reprise the role of Pooja Hegde in the Hindi remake. However, there is no official announcement on this yet.
Reportedly, Rohit Dhawan, son of David Dhawan and brother of Varun Dhawan, will be directing the Hindi remake. The producers of the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Allu Aravind, S. Radha Krishna will be co producing the Hindi remake with noted producer Ekta Kapoor. The Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is expected to go on floors by 2021.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo made a huge impact on all the lingual industries. It is also said the film is being remade in Tamil too. If the recent reports are to be believed, Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan might play the lead in the Tamil remake.
