Mahesh Babu Urges Everyone To Protect Nature On World Nature Conservation Day

Today, on June 28th, World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated globally to raise awareness about the importance of natural resources in our lives and the need to conserve them for a sustainable life.  Several important factors are brought into light by the government and NGOs on this day, such as population, deforestation, industrialisation and deprivation of natural resources.  South superstar Mahesh Babu took this day as an opportunity and urged social media netizens to protect Mother Earth.

Mahesh Babu took to his official Twitter handle and penned a note about protecting nature amid these hard times of COVID-19.  He wrote “Save water, recycle, manage waste, use renewable energy, reduce plastic usage.  Choose one to start!!  While we protect ourselves during this global crisis, let’s remember to conserve and protect nature too. Change begins at home! 🌍🌳🍃 #WorldNatureConservationDay (sic.)”
