The Anushka Shetty starrer fantasy drama Arundhati, was one of the biggest hits in 2009. Anushka’s performance in the film cemented her in the top league of the film industry. Arundhati’s Director Kodi Rama Krishna received a lot of accolades for the graphics and direction. Now, after a decade the film is all set to be remade in Hindi.
According to the reports, the superhit Telugu drama, Arundhati is all set to be remade In Hindi with star heroine of Bollywood Deepika Padukone. Previously, the actress has performed such traditional characters in films like Ram Leela, Padmavat and proved to be the best. It will be definitely interesting to watch Deepika Padukone reprise the role of Anushka Shetty in the Hindi remake.
The Hindi remakes rights have been bought by the noted producer Allu Aravind. It is also said Allu Aravind will be associating with Madhu Mantenna of Phantom films and Brat films, for the Hindi remake. However, the other details are not revealed yet but, soon the official announcement is expected.

Arundhati was the first women centric movie which crossed the highest gross ratings at the box office. The film shows a story about a queen who fights with an evil man for the safety and rights of women. The film also featured Sonu Sood as the antagonist along with Anushka Shetty as the leading lady. This film also received many Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards for its amazing performance and direction.
