This activity which is published every Saturday aims to sum up the important news which happened this week which you might have missed.
Here are the important news items for this week.
1) Sai Dharam Tej To Play Promising Role In Deva Katta’s Film
Sai Dharam Tej’s forthcoming untitled film will be directed by Deva Katta. Sai Dharam Tej would be seen as an IAS officer in this movie. He is preparing for the role by spending time observing the body language and behavioural patterns of several young bureaucrats, who recently entered into the Indian Administration Services.
2) Rahman To Reprise Vivek Oberoi’s Role In Lucifer
Earlier this year, Chiranjeevi announced his forthcoming film will be a Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film Lucifer. Sujeeth of Saaho fame, has been roped in to direct the film. The makers of the film have approached Tamil actor Rahman to play a pivotal role in the Telugu remake. A source close to a leading daily said, “Rahman will be seen playing the antagonist in the film, a role that was played by Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in the original (sic.)”
3) Satya Dev And Tamannaah Bhatia To Star In The Telugu Remake Of Love Mocktail
Love Mocktail is a famous Kannada film which was released in January, 2020. The Telugu remake of the Kannada film, Love Mocktail has been on the cards for many days. Satya Dev and Tamannaah Bhatia are roped in to play the lead roles in Love Mocktail. The pragmatic love drama will be directed by Nagashekar. The film will also be co produced by Director Nagashekar and Bhavani Ravi under the Production: 1 Movies banner.
4) Sailesh Kolanu’s HIT Being Remade In Bollywood With Rajkummar Rao As The Lead
The Vishwak Sen starrer HIT, became a box office superhit and has found a place in the top ten movies which released in the recent years in a Tollywood aficionado’s watchlist. Dil Raju Productions and Sri Venkateswara Creations took to Twitter to share the news with fans about a Bollywood remake. The incredibly talented Rajkummar Rao will be reprising the role of Vishwak Sen in the Hindi remake.

5) Mathu Vadalara To Get A Bollywood Remake
Mathu Vadalara is a new age comedy thriller movie directed by Ritesh Rana and made on a low budget. The film received critical acclaim for its gripping story telling and the clever humour. Mathu Vadalara is now going to get a Bollywood remake as the Ritesh Rana directorial caught the attention of the Hindi audience. Ritesh who began drafting the Hindi version says “Producer Cherry garu and I always believed that the Mathu Vadalara script has the potential to be told on a larger scale. So we had initially thought of making the film in Hindi too. The appreciation and acclaim the Telugu version reinforced our confidence in the script, and we decided to narrate it to a wider audience (sic.)”
6) Pooja Hegde Bags 11 million followers on Instagram
The hugely popular South Indian actress Pooja Hegde achieved a personal milestone as she gained eleven million followers on the popular social media platform Instagram. Pooja Hegde thanked her fans for this eleven million milestone in the most unique way. She posed for the picture in a crazy yoga pose which portrays 11.
