Action hero Gopichand has reportedly signed his next film after Seetimaarr, with versatile Director Teja. The film is touted to be a family entertainer and is tentatively titled as Alamelu Manga Venkata Ramana. The film will be jointly bankrolled by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner.
Initially, speculations went rife Kajal Aggarwal and Anushka Shetty might play the leading lady opposite the macho hero in the film. However, according to the latest reports, National Award Winning actress Keerthy Suresh has been approached to essay the female lead in the film. The grapevine suggests the young diva was mighty impressed with the script but, she is yet to take the final call. Director Teja has already wrapped up the script work and the casting process is currently underway. The director is planning to begin the shooting of the film as soon as the coronavirus situation gets better.
According to reports, the actress has decided to slash her remuneration by 20% – 30% for her future projects owing to the COVID-19 crisis. If this news turns out to be true, she will be the first female actor in Tamil and Telugu cinema to do so.

On the work front, Keerthy Suresh will be next seen in the Telugu movies Miss India and Rang De, along with actor Nithiin. In Tamil, the actress will be seen with Rajinikanth in Annaatthe and she will also be playing the leading lady in Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
