Post the success of the raw love story Rx 100, Kartikeya Gummakonda became one of the talented actors in the film industry. Be it as protagonist or antagonist, the actor aces every role. Kartikeya was highly appreciated for his antagonist role in Nani’s Gang leader. Now, it seems like he has bagged another role as a villain in the big Tamil film, Valimai.
During the end of 2019, it was widely speculated, Kartikeya has been roped in as the antagonist in Thala Ajith’s upcoming film Valimai. Finally, the young actor indirectly hinted about his presence in the big budget action thriller.
On the two years anniversary of RX 100, the actor interacted with Director Ajay Bhupathi, through a live video chat on social media. When the director asked about his presence in the Tamil film, Kartikeya hesitatingly said, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Valimai is directed by H.Vinod and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. Valimai has reportedly completed 40% of the shoot and the remaining portions are expected to be shot in foreign countries. However, with the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, the shooting has been delayed and the makers are altering their plans regarding filming locations.

On the work front, Kartikeya Gummakonda was last seen in 90ML alongside Neha Solanki, directed by Sekhar Reddy Yerra. The actor will be next seen in the Telugu film, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, directed by Koushik Pegallapati. The film is presented by Allu Aravind and bankrolled by Bunny Vas.
