Popular Kollywood actor Prithviraj shared screen space with Thala Ajith in the superhit film Aval Varuvala. In a recent television interview, Prithviraj recalled an incident with Shalini and Ajith, which showed what a true gentleman Ajith is.
Narrating the incident, Prithviraj said that before the lockdown he went to eat in a restaurant where Shalini and her daughter Anoushka were also having their food. Since he had not acted with her he felt hesitant to go and talk to her.
Later, surprised Prithviraj said, “I received a call from Shalini Ajith the very next moment and she apologised for not coming and talking to me when she saw him at the hotel. She had apparently informed Ajith about seeing me and not coming up and talking to me and she revealed that Ajith was upset with her for that. He had told her that I was a senior actor, his friend and his school senior as well and that she should have come and talked to me(sic.)”

On the work front, Thala Ajith will be next seen in the H. Vinoth directorial Valimai. The shooting of the cop drama was brought to a halt after the lockdown to contain the pandemic situation. Meanwhile, it was reported recently the film might get a direct release to OTT platforms. Clearing the air on the same, the film’s producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that it will not be released on OTT platforms.
