Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 fame is currently busy with his next project titled Mahasamudram. Ajay won multiple accolades for his direction skills in RX100, a low budget movie which became a super hit. Mahasamudram is coming up with new speculations daily which is creating a lot of interest among the audience.
There are a lot of speculations of who would be the leading lady for this film. Initially, top actresses like Samantha Akkineni and Aditi Rao Hydari were in the news for the movie. Later, it was said, both the actresses quit the project. Now, the latest name which is doing the rounds in the media is Raashi Khanna. According to reports, Raashi Khanna would be a part of the film but it is not known whether she would be the leading lady or not.
Talented actor Sharwanand was selected as the protagonist for the movie but Ajay Bhupathi was on the lookout for another protagonist. It said the search has ended with Siddharth being zeroed in as the second protagonist. Nevertheless, these all shall remain mere speculations until the official announcement is made by the makers of the film.
Director Ajay Bhupathi confirmed Mahasamudram as his next project in 2019, September. The film is being produced by Anil Sunkara.

On the work front, Raashi Khanna was last seen in World Famous Lover, an anthology movie, alongside Vijay Deverakonda and which was directed by Kranthi Madhav. She will be next seen in a Tamil film opposite Arya, titled Aranmanai 3, directed by Sundar C. The actress is also featured in Sanga Thamizhan, alongside Makkal Selvan and Vijay Sethupathi.
