Madhan Karky is a lyricist and screenwriter who is singularly responsible for creating an entire language from scratch for Baahubali. The language named as Kiliki is spoken by the Kalakeya tribe in Baahubali, who are also one of the antagonists in the first part. Karky won widespread critical acclaim for creating Kiliki and it comes as no surprise that Rajamouli roped him for Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR.)
Madhan Karky is currently working as the dialogue writer of the Tamil Version of RRR and spoke about the movie in an interview. Karky said if Baahubali had ten goosebump moments, then RRR would have such moments right from the beginning. Baahubali had its own share of moments which induced goosebumps like the first time a slave lays eyes on Baahubali, or the battle between Kalakeya tribe and Mahishmati kingdom. If Karky is right then RRR promises to be an intense ride for the audience. Moreover. Karky also said “Patriotism is narrated in an intriguing, which has some rich, beautiful visuals and never before seen action sequences (sic.)” Madhan Karky also added that working on RRR is easier compared to Baahubali because he does not have to invent a new language.
