Ace choreographer Saroj Khan passed away due to a cardiac arrest in Mumbai on July 3, 2020. The devastating news created a void in the film industry. She was fondly known as Masterji among film circles and has choreographed popular songs in Telugu and Hindi.
In an illustrious career spanning for over four decades, Saroj Khan composed dance moves for close to 2000 songs and won the National Award three times for popular Bollywood films, Devdas, Sringaram and Jab We Met. Saroj Khan also worked with Tollywood biggies like Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh Daggubati and has also choreographed for songs in Daddy, Choodalani Vundi and a couple of other films in Telugu.
Actors Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Hansika Motwani, Tamannaah Bhatia and more took to their respective social media handles and mourned Saroj Khan’s untimely passing.
