Rajamouli was one of the first directors to resume the shooting works for his movie Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR.) His plan was to do a trial shoot for two days with the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, while following the safety guidelines laid down by the government. However, reports said Rajamouli was forced to cancel the two day shoot for RRR because of the sudden spike in the COVID-19 cases in Telangana State. Several crew members expressed their reluctance to come for the trial shoot because of the grim situation on the ground.
However, latest reports suggest Rajamouli is not giving up on resuming shooting for RRR and is once again planning to get ready for a trial shoot early next week. Ram Charan, Nandamuri Tarak Ram Junior, several important technicians and crew members are expected to take part in this trial shoot. One of the possible reasons for Rajamouli eagerness to resume shooting is probably because RRR is already running months behind the planned schedule.
