The biggest news running all over the world from months is the Coronavirus pandemic. The filmmakers are leaving no stone unturned to take this opportunity and make a film about this pandemic. In Tollywood, two films have been announced about COVID 19, the first one was by Director G.D. Venu and the other one by Director Prashanth Varma.
The latest Tollywood film to jump on the Coronavirus bandwagon is WHO — World Hazard Ordinance, which stars Rakshith of Palasa 1978 fame and deals with the theory behind how the virus first broke out.
Rakshith, who stars as the lead actor in the film, says, “WHO is a fictional scientific thriller which is inspired by a conspiracy theory on how Covid-19 first originated in a Chinese lab. How the virus breaks out in a small lab and how it exposes the entire world to it, the backstory behind it and how certain people failed to prevent its spread will be shown in the movie. It’s a very relatable story so I can’t wait to start shooting for it. However, since there will be overseas schedules as well, it will take some time before we can start the shoot(sic.)”

WHO is directed by famous director Vasu Pinnamaraju aka Dev Pinn, an award winning filmmaker who directed the internationally acclaimed short film I am Gonna Tell God Everything, is set to make his Tollywood debut with this film. The film is slated to be shot in four different countries, including the United States, Italy, South Africa and the India-China border.
