Chiyaan 60: Vikram- Dhruv Starrer Has An Interesting Title

While Vikram is currently busy with his upcoming film Cobra, directed by Ajay Ganamuthu, the actor has already signed his next film with ace director Karthik Subbaraj, tentatively titled as Chiyaan 60.  This film is quite special for Vikram because he will be sharing the screen space with his son Dhruv, for the first time.  

The first poster of Chiyaan 60 created a lot of buzz on social media for its intriguing first look and lovely chemistry between the father and son duo.  Now the latest buzz is the movie has a high chance of being officially titled as Thiravukol Mandiravadhi.  This title has been mentioned on the director’s Wikipedia page and now fans can’t keep calm as the title of the movie goes viral on social media.  However, an official confirmation about the same hasn’t been made by the makers of the movie for now.

In a recent interview, Karthik revealed how he conceived the idea to cast Vikram and Dhruv together in Chiyaan 60.  The director said Dhruv and Vikram were already on his mind for the  role while coming up with the script.  It was only in recent times that he got the idea and pitched it to Vikram. The actor liked the script and that’s how it started.  However, Karthik also mentioned the script is still in the initial stage and he is still working on it.

Chiyaan 60 is touted to be a gangster flick and will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.  This film is yet again being bankrolled by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio who is also producing Vikram’s Cobra.
