Keerthy Suresh will be seen in a slew of upcoming movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Keerthy Suresh was completely packed with busy shooting schedules for her ongoing projects before the onset of the national lockdown which was declared by the Central Government of India in order to check the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The lockdown and the virus is posing a serious problem to film producers as their overhead costs would increase due to the strict safety and social distancing protocols made mandatory by the Government.
Keerthy Suresh seems to have understood the problems that filmmakers would face in the post COVID-19 world and therefore expressed her willingness to reduce her remuneration for future projects. In order to show that she is not bluffing, Keerthy Suresh agreed to a reduction in her remuneration for all her current projects by 20% to 30%. This is a show of good faith by keerthy Suresh and has definitely set an example for other big stars to emulate. Needless to say, Keerthy Suresh’s decision would come as a relief to producers.

On the professional front, Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the Telugu movies Miss India, Penguin and Rang De. Penguin will be the first mainstream multi lingual movie to get a direct release on the Over The Top (OTT) online streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. The trailer for Penguin was released recently and it showed Keerthy Suresh as a pregnant mother who sets out on a hunt to find her son who goes missing in the forests of Ooty.
