Movie buffs would be able to see Rana Daggubati and Ravi Teja on the same screen together for the first time if all goes according to plan. According to the buzz going around the Telugu movie industry, it is believed Rana and Ravi Teja are being roped in for the remake of the superhit Malayali movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum. An official announcement regarding the project would be made in the coming weeks. Rana and Ravi Teja are expected to kickstart the project from August. Sudheer Varma is apparently signed on to helm this remake which would likely be bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is an action drama which was directed by Sachi and produced by Gold Coin Motion PIcture Company. The movie which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon went on to become a hit with the audiences. It would definitely be interesting to see how Rana and Ravi Teja would pull off the remake.

On the professional front, Rana Daggubati will be seen in Aranya, where he will be seen as Bandev, who protects forests from illegal land poachers. Rana will also be seen in another upcoming movie Virata Parvam which stars Sai Pallavi and Priyamani.
Ravi Teja on the other hand will be seen in an upcoming cop drama titled Krack which stars himself and Shruthi Haasan. Krack is being produced by B. Madhu under his production company Saraswathi Films Division while S.S. Thaman is the music composer. Ali, Chiraj Jani, Devi Prasad and Vamsi Chaganti will appear in supporting roles for Krack.
