Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are the most loved on screen couple. The duo have worked on two films together and the audience loved their mesmerizing chemistry in both the films, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Rashmika and Vijay share a great bond of friendship and are often rumored to be dating each other. However, the actress recently revealed that at one point she was scared of shooting with Vijay Deverakonda.
While the audience wants to see this duo in more films, it will surprise you to know that Rashmika was quite scared of the Arjun Reddy star. In an interview with The News Minute, Rashmika said, “Nothing has changed. I was scared when I first shot with him as I’m scared of new people. But then, Vijay is a very chill fellow and I found it easy to work with him. Shooting for this film was easier as I knew his frequency, his vibe and it was easy to match up to it – I didn’t even have to try as we’ve been friends for quite a long time now. Our characters rub off on each other and the best part about our friendship is that I don’t have to try hard to understand the guy(sic.)”
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in his first pan India film Fighter, which is directed by Puri Jagannadh. Bollywood diva Ananya Panday is paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this intense boxing drama. This film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, the Hindi rendition is backed up by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

On the other hand, Rashmika will start the shooting for Allu Arjun’s starrer Pushpa once the shooting schedule begins. The actress is learning the Chittoor dialect for this red sander smugglers mafia drama. This film is directed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers while Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music. Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Vennela Kishore will be seen in supporting roles.
