Gopichand who was last seen on the big screen in the spy thriller Chanakya, celebrated his birthday on Friday. The actor was overwhelmed by all the wishes pouring in from his co actors and his fans. The makers of his upcoming film, Seetimaar released a special poster on the eve of his birthday in the character of a sports coach.
Thanking everyone for making him feel so special, the actor wrote on his social media, “Thank you for all your prayers, wishes and kind words. Feeling glad for all your heartfelt greetings. All you guys really made my day so special (sic.)”

Director Sampath Nandi went to Gopichand’s house with producers Srinivas and KK Radhamohan. Sharing that Gopichand rang in his birthday, keeping Covid-19 norms in mind and that it was a low key affair filled with just warmth and wishes, he wrote, “With my #Seetimaarr producer @SS_Screens Srinivas garu, #BengalTiger producer @KKRadhamohan garu @ our hero @YoursGopichand garu’s place. Seetimaar is an intense sports drama, Gopichand will play the role of a hockey coach from Andhra Pradesh, who will face off Tamannaah’s character Jwala Reddy, who’s the coach of the Telangana all girls hockey team. The team of Seetimaar also revealed that shooting will commence from August.
