Rana Daggubati has been recognized as the finest and bankable actor after his mind blowing performance in one of the biggest blockbusters, the Baahubali series. Of late, Rana has been in the news for his engagement with Miheeka Bajaj.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Rana Daggubati spoke about the struggle behind playing the roles he has portrayed in his career. Talking about his upcoming film, Rana revealed, “Aranya is the toughest film I have shot, and this is coming from someone who shot Baahubali. I had to bear the weight of a trunk of an elephant on my shoulders. The trunk would easily weigh 160-170 kgs. Each of these films have allowed me to live a new experience(sic.)”
Rana also mentioned the importance Baahubali holds in his life and to the Indian cinema. “The film didn’t just change my life, it changed Indian cinema forever. The scale of thought has changed. The movies we make have changed. This impact is no less than what Star Wars did to the West, the actor said(sic.)”
Rana Daggubati also shared the love for movies and said, “You get to embody another person. Cinema, far away from the real world, is the closest thing to magic for me. When I pick a movie, I am excited about making a journey to another universe(sic.)”
On the work front, Rana is waiting for his trilingual release of Aranya in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, which has been postponed due to COVID 19. The actor is currently working on another upcoming film Virata Parvam along with Sai Pallavi which is directed by Venu Udugula and bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri.
