Tollywood Superstar ‘King’ Nagarjuna and his wife Amala Akkineni celebrated their twenty eighth wedding anniversary yesterday. Nagarjuna and Amala got married on June 11th, 1992 and the 28 years of togetherness, commitment and zeal is reflected in the pictures on social media. Nagarjuna and Amala Paul celebrated the special day by having dinner with close family members.
Nagarjuna posted a picture of him with Amala from the dinner and captioned it saying “Thank you all for the blessings in these troubled times. be well my friends (sic!!) Fans took to social media to send in their wishes for the star couple. Nagarjuna’s younger son, Akhil Akkineni posted pictures from the dinner and captioned it saying “Winding down with the love birds and the rest of the family. Happy anniversary to my dear parents who I love so much. What a love story (sic.)”

On the professional front, Nagarjuna had agreed to star in a movie which would be directed by Dhanush. The movie is likely to be titled Rudhra and is likely to go on to the floors once the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Aditi Rao Hydari is most likely to be the leading lady in Rudhra. Nagarjuna is currently busy with his next project Brahmastra, a Bollywood film and an ambitious project which is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee. Brahmastra is an action fantasy movie and is the first movie in a planned trilogy. The movie has a star studded cast with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy along with Nagarjuna.
