The veteran star couple, Rajasekhar and Jeevitha have two daughters who have chosen the path of acting as their career. The younger daughter, Shivatmika has already made her debut in the film industry with the film Dorasani. While, Shivani is waiting for the right film to knock at the door.
Initially, Shivani was to make her debut with the remake of the blockbuster film 2 States but the film didn’t happen and got shelved. Now, the buzz is that both Shivani and Shivatmika are going to come up together to act in an interesting film where they would play sisters. It is said director Praveen Sattaru would direct this film. The icing on the cake is that mother Jeevitha Rajasekhar is going to produce this film. As of now, there is no clarity on when the project would actually hit the floors.
Recently, talking about her shelved 2 States project, Shivani Rajasekhar said, “it was so disheartening to learn that the film had to be put on hold. I have been trying to enter the industry for five years now, but it hasn’t been easy. Earlier, I went through hundreds of auditions and faced rejections because I was apparently too tall at 5 feet 8 inches(sic.)”
Meanwhile, Shivatmika is busy working on the film Ranga Marthanda directed by Krishna Vamsi. This film will also cast the legendary comedian Brahmanandam and Anasuya Bharadwaj in crucial roles.
