Upasana Kamineni is one of the most successful women entrepreneurs in the world. Hailing from a powerful business family, Upasana entered the business world right after graduation and continued to be a good businesswoman, even after marriage. She married popular actor Ram Charan in 2012 and revealed her marriage experience and the reason behind her successful career.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Upasana shared her experience of married life and said, “Like all girls, I too was tensed at the thought of entering into a new house after marriage. I was scared about conducting myself in the presence of so many unknown people and in the new environment. However, within a few days, Ram Charan’s family members made me feel at home and in fact made me forget my own house. My mother in law Surekha Vani treated me like her daughter(sic.)”
Upasana also credited her husband’s family as the reason for her success, even after marriage. She said, “I am successful today in business due to the support of each and every member of the mega family(sic.)”
Talking about the love of her life, Ram charan, Upasana added saying, “I am fortunate to marry the celebrity Ram Charan I liked. My husband Ram Charan is different at home if we compare him with his on-screen image. I can’t reveal much because it’s a secret. As husband and wife, we respect each other’s profession and freedom. We are more like friends. During this lockdown period, we are spending time together at home and enjoying the time together(sic.)”

On the professional front, Ram Charan will next be seen playing the role of the freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju in the S.S. Rajamouli’s directorial, RRR. The film also stars Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Ajay Devgn, in key roles.
