Director Teja is known for his movies which tend to elicit multiple emotions in the audience . Ever since he made his debut with Chitram, which starred the late Uday Kiran, he gave us many memorable hits across the years. Some of Teja’s hits include Nuvvu Nenu (2001,) Jayam (2002) and Nijam (2003.)
Teja is now looking to source talent to feature in his next movie through a live audition which would be done on a social media platform. Teja wants to scout aspiring actors via the Helo Application, on which interested applicants can submit their audition videos. Moreover, Teja also stressed only applications uploaded on the Helo App would be considered. The selected applicants would win a chance to star in a film which Teja will be directing and would be produced by the People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

Teja announced a couple of films on his birthday, the names of which were registered as Rakshasa Raju Ravanasurudu and Alimelu Manga Venkata Ramana. One of the films would star Gopichand and the other would star Rana Daggubati. The winning audition applicant would get a chance to star in one of these two new films. More news about the audition process would be released in the near future.
Teja’s last film was Sita (2019,) was a romantic comedy, which starred Kajal Aggarwal as the titular character along with Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonu Sood. Anup Rubens composed the music and the movie was produced by Sunkara Ramabrahmam. Sita was loosely based on the movie Rain Man which starred Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
