Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) is touted to be the most highly anticipated movie in Indian Cinema. RRR is being directed by ace director Rajamouli who gave us the blockbuster Baahubali franchise which resonated with audiences worldwide and also catapulted Prabhas to international stardom. Rajamouli set a benchmark for Indian cinema with the Baahubali franchise and the audiences will be expecting the same level of filmmaking if not more with RRR.
In a surprising update Shriya Saran confirmed that she would be joining the cast of RRR. The news was confirmed by Shriya herself during a social media interaction. Shriya said “I have an emotional role in the film that comes during the flashback episodes. I will be shooting with Ajay Devgn for the role in RRR. Hope to join the sets once the coronavirus lockdown gets lifted and international flights resume (sic.)”
The shooting schedule of RRR is expected to resume soon as the Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) agreed to the requests made by the delegation representing Tollywood led by Chiranjeevi. Recently, there was a buzz about a massive set which was erected to resemble a village at the cost of a whopping 18 crore rupees. A large portion of RRR is expected to be shot there on the set which is located near Gandipet.
Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Allison Doody and Ray Stevenson will be appearing in supporting roles for RRR. M.M. Keeravani is composing the music for RRR while DVV Entertainments is producing the movie. Ram Charan and Jr. NTR are the stars of the movie with Jr. NTR playing the role of Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan playing the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju.
