On Saturday, the 95th birth anniversary of Tollywood’s legendary producer D. Rama Naidu was celebrated at the Film Chambers in Hyderabad. His son Suresh babu and grandsons Rana and Abhiram Daggubati were in attendance. The Dagguabati family paid tributes to the late producer by garlanding at his statue and remembering him on his anniversary.
Rana’s brother Abhiram Daggubati opened up about his film debut, relationship with his grandfather and his brother’s marriage while speaking to a Telugu TV channel. “I was born and raised in the presence of grandfather and my world revolved around him. We used to share a close bond and I’d accompany him everywhere he goes. I miss him terribly(sic.)”
Abhiram also spoke about his film debut and said “My grandfather’s dream was to see me as a hero and if he would have been there, things would have been different. However, with my father’s support, my debut film might go on the floors in 2020 or next year. I’m also equally interested in film production(sic.)”
Congratulating his brother Rana for the biggest happiness, he added, “I congratulate and wish him a very married life. I’ve known sister-in-law Miheeka Bajaj since a very long time as she is a close friend of my cousin Aashritha (Venkatesh’s daughter) the marriage might happen in August(sic.)”

Rana Daggubati and Miheeka began their wedding preparations, the couple recently had an intimate Roka ceremony with few family and close friends at Rama Naidu Film Studios and the wedding shall most likely take place during the month of August.
