Numerous Bollywood, Hollywood and South Indian celebs took to social media and demonstrated solidarity with the ‘Dark Lives Matter’ movement. The social media platforms were loaded up with dark squares, hashtagged #BlackoutTuesday as they protested for the manslaughter of 46 year old African American George Floyd, in Minneapolis on May 25th. South Indian celebs like Samantha Akkineni, Trisha Krishnan among others shared dark squares on their social media with the hashtag #BlackoutTuesday. Now, Tamannaah Bhatia has shared an amazing note on her Instagram that highlights how ‘All Lives Matter.’
Tamannaah Bhatia took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself with a powerful note that read, “Your silence will not protect you. Doesn’t every life matter, human or animal? Muting any form of creation is against the universal law. We must unlearn and learn to be human again, express compassion and practice love. #AllLivesMatter #WakeUpWorld (sic.)”
Recently in Kerala, the death of an elephant that ate a pineapple filled with a firecracker sparked outrage across the country. Tamannah also took to her Instagram and shared her grief about this barbaric incident and said she is extremely heartbroken.
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia, who was seen in Chiranjeevi’s last film, Sye Raa, has a couple of projects in the pipeline. The stunner has Seetimaarr opposite Gopichand, a sports drama which is being directed by Sampath Nandi. The music for this movie is composed by Mani Sharma. This film also features Digangana Suryavanshiand and actress Bhumika Chawla. Tamannaah will also be seen in a Telugu remake of the Bollywood movie, Queen which is titled as That is Mahalakshmi, directed by Prashanth Varma.
