Minister KT Rama Rao Responds To Meera Chopra’s Police Complaint Against Jr NTR Fans

The controversy between the fans of Jr. NTR and actress Meera Chopra is raging off the boil.  Even after the actress lodged a police complaint on the Jr. NTR’s fans for cyberbullying, these fans are still continuing to do the same.  This whole issue began when Meera Chopra said she is a fan of Mahesh Babu and not of Jr. NTR as she doesn’t know much about him, in an interaction with fans on social media.

Many fans of Jr. NTR, on Twitter, heaped abuses and threatened Meera with rape.  As the threats and trolls weren’t stopping even after the police complaint, the actress shared a bunch of threat tweets and tagged IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao and former Minister Kavitha, to take immediate action for the sake of the safety of women.

In no time, Minister K.T. Rama Rao responded to the tweet and said, “Ma’am, I have requested Telangana DGP and CP Hyderabad to take stern action as per law based on your complaint (sic.)”

Responding to the hurdle of rape and acid attack threats, Meera said in a tweet, “I just wana say 1 thing, people who are abusing me are lifeless.  We have bigger crisis going on with covid, people are dying all over the world. and you guys are getting petty pleasure in abusing and threatening just bcoz iam not a fan of ur fav star. Go get a life!!!”
