Balakrishna To Be Invited For Meeting With Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan

Balakrishna was in the news recently when he expressed his displeasure at not being invited to the meeting of the Tollywood delegation which met the Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav which took place at Megastar Chiranjeevi’s house.  When asked about his thoughts on the meeting, Balakrishna said that he learnt about the meeting when he saw the news and expressed anger at being left out of the delegation which consisted of senior actors, producers and directors.  The agenda of the meeting was Tollywood’s concerns about resuming production works and shooting schedules.

Another Tollywood delegation headed by Chiranjeevi is planning to meet the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, to talk about resuming movie schedules in Andhra Pradesh.  However, the delegation is now planning to extend an invitation to Balakrishna so as to not offend the senior actor once again.  We would have to wait and watch if Balakrishna would accept the invitation this time for the meeting that is scheduled to take place on June 9th.  Balakrishna is also a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Hindupur constituency which is in Andhra Pradesh and represents the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

The whole fiasco has garnered a lot of attention when Balakrishna said that the meeting with Talasani Srinivas Yadav, took place so that lands could be exchanged between the minister and the delegates.  The comment outraged many and Naga Babu took to social media to record a strong message asking Balakrishna to immediately apologize to the Telugu movie industry as well as the Telangana Government for his comments which implied illegal dealings took place between a minister and the Tollywood delegation.
