On May 28, it is the late legendary actor-cum-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s 97th birth anniversary. Every year, fans, family members and his political party leaders pay floral tributes to the actor and former Chief Minister at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad on both his birth and death anniversaries. However, the on-going tradition from the past few years is likely to take place in low light this year due to the Covid 19 crisis.

According to a press note released, on behalf of Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram, both the Telugu actors will not be visiting the NTR Ghat tomorrow in the interest of public safety. They will be offering their respects and prayers to late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao Garu at home and this is to prevent gathering of crowds which is against Covid-19 lockdown norms
