The Vishwak Sen starrer HIT became a box office superhit and has found a place in the top ten movies which released in the recent years in a Tollywood aficionado’s watchlist. The movie defied all expectations of it failing at the box office and instead gave Vishwak Sen one of the bigger hits of his career. HIT is also one of the last movies to release in theaters before the government ordered the closure of theaters.
However, there is an interesting buzz going around the industry about this Vishwak Sen starrer. According to these latest reports, it is speculated that HIT is going to Bollywood. Moreover, noted producer Dil Raju would be producing the Bollywood version of HIT and it would also be a remake. If this news is true then it will be a new milestone for Vishwak Sen.
Sailesh Kolanu, the director of HIT, has left a heartfelt note to Nani after the success of HIT. Sailesh also recounts the journey from when he first met Nani and how he narrated the script to Nani, following which Nani convinced Sailesh Kolanu to direct the movie himself. Sailesh Kolanu does not forget to share how grateful he is for Nani for taking a risk on him by producing HIT.
There were also strong rumours that HIT would get a sequel as well and would have Vishwak Sen reprising his role once again. Vishwak Sen plays an investigating police officer who is out to solve the mystery of missing women and at the same time battling the demons from his past in his head. HIT stars Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma as the leads, while Murli Sharma, Brahmaji, Bhanuchander and Hari Priya will be seen in supporting roles. HIT was released in theaters on February 28th, 2020.
