Due to the ongoing lock down, many about-to-be-released big films have been postponed until further notice. Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is likely to be postponed too. The movie was said to release during Sankranthi festival season but the producer of the film Danayya stated that it may not be possible to do so.
In a recent interview with a popular daily, Producer Danayya stated that it’s nearly impossible to release the film on Sankranthi as there is a lot of pending work to be done. “Nearly 70% shoot has been wrapped up. The remaining 30% and the post-production formalities are yet to kick-off,” said the producer.
The producer further added saying that, “If the government can give us the necessary permissions, we’re ready to go on sets with a limited crew. However, with the extensive VFX works needing the considerate amount of time, it’s highly unlikely for RRR to have a Sankranthi release.”
As it is promised that Rajamouli will release something special on NTR’s birthday. He also confirmed the news and said that SS Rajamouli is planning something interesting for NTR’s fans on the latter’s birthday.
