Southern actress Samantha Akkineni is making best use of the virtual world during lockdown. She is taking acting lessons from the acclaimed English actress Helen Mirren. The veteran actress Helen Mirren is the recipient of damehood for her contribution to arts. Helen Mirren even won an Academy Award for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen.
Samantha is on cloud nine and said that she had one of the most productive hours and felt that she needs to show it off. To make things even more interesting Samantha said we should wait and watch for her to be a much better actor and if she is not she would be deleting the post. However, many of her fans already think Samantha is an amazing actor. Samantha’s performances in Oh! Baby, Majili, Super Deluxe and Rangasthalam are just some of her notable acting works which established her as one of the leading South Indian stars. Samantha has also made a name for herself in the Tamil movie industry as well with notable performances in Neethaane En Ponvasantham and Mersal.

Samantha will be seen as an antagonist for the first time in her acting career when she will appear on the superhit Amazon Prime Original show The Family Man. Samantha was last seen in Jaanu, which is a remake of the Tamil superhit movie ‘96 which starred Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi. Samantha starred opposite Sharwanand in Jaanu, which went on to become a hit due to the acting performances and the music composed by Govind Menon.
