Due to the lockdown, many OTT channels have approached film producers to release films directly on these platforms as the audience rate is very high. There were several rumors that Dil Raju’s film ‘V‘ was also approached by OTT channels but because Nani was against the idea, producer Dil Raju took a step back.
According to the reports, a streaming giant offered producer Dil Raju big money to release it on their platform instead of theaters. However, dismissing the rumours, a popular Telugu portal quoted Dil Raju saying, “None of our Tollywood stars have any objection to releasing movies on OTT platforms. It is because we producers were not sure about recovering our investment from these digital companies. We have decided to wait and watch for some more time.”
Dil Raju likewise referenced that if theaters don’t open for an additional three months, they should release their movies on OTT. Be that as it may, for the time being, they will intently watch the circumstance.
