Pawan Kalyan is making a return to the silver screen after taking a long sabbatical to pursue his political ambitions. When news about Pawan Kalyan’s reentry into films was picked up by his fans, social media exploded with a lot of grateful and happy wishes from fans. Pawan Kalyan announced his first movie would be with director Sriram Venu and the movie would be a remake of the popular Bollywood movie Pink. The much awaited first look along with the title Vakeel Saab was announced and they managed to trend on Twitter for a whole day.

While talking to a popular news daily, Sriram Venu says “The film is a powerful statement on the existing feudal mindset. And Pawan garu is someone who believes in the concept of social justice. That is why he is a natural fit to the story (sic.)” Talking about the initial days of the project, Sriram Venu revealed that Pawan Kalyan used to travel 600 kms daily to shuttle between Hyderabad and Vijayawada for 22 days. This was due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments and work in Vijayawada.
According to Sriram Venu, Pawan Kalyan used to come to the sets in the evening and work in the nights which inspired the crew to work harder. Vakeel Saab is being produced by Dil Raju and Anjali,Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj and Naresh will appear in important supporting roles.
