Samantha Akkineni is up for another remake? Here’s what the buzz is

Samantha Akkineni  was last seen in Jaanu, a remake of Tamil film 96, and it is safe to say that she is at the peak of her career. Right now, the actress is just enjoying the quarantine period with her family and hasn’t confirmed any movie yet. However, a few days back rumours of Samantha collaboration with Nandini Reddy have been doing bouts but the director denied the rumours.

Reports are coming out now that, recently released Kannada film Dia has intrigued Samantha Akkineni a ton and she would soon be watching the film. We hear that a prominent Telugu producer took Kannada film “Dia” to her, which is accessible on Amazon Prime Video at the present time. Lately, Dia has become very popular on Amazon. The plot of the movie just keeps you engaged throughout. This film is a love story of an introverted girl and how her life changed after falling in love with a guy. If the reports turn out to be true, it would be interesting to see Samantha play in the remake of Dia.

Samantha is also in talks to do another Kannada based film, Nagaratnamma. Recently it has come out that senior director Singeetam approached her for a biopic on Bangalore based activist Nagaratnamma on the silver screen. The actress has previously performed remake films like Oh Baby, Jaanu and U–turn and all these have turned out to be hit flicks. We got to wait and see if Samantha is up for another remake?
