Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya is definitely the talk of the town as its rumours about the film never stop. For a very long time rumors have been doing bouts that Mahesh Babu will be doing a cameo role in the film Acharya. However, a few days ago, Acharya actor dismissed the rumours but now the director of the film Siva Koratala has otherwise to say.
The director of the film Acharya, Siva Koratala revealed that initially Mahesh Babu was the choice for the cameo role. Talking to a leading daily, the Acharya director said that, “I actually planned that role keeping Ram Charan in my mind. But he was stuck with RRR. Later, RRR got postponed and it further left me in a dilemma about Charan being part of Acharya. In that tense situation, I casually called up Mahesh garu and was discussing the issue. He didn’t even ask me anything about the role, but casually told me that he was in to act in Acharya if I’m too worried. His assurance had given me a lot of confidence.”
Talking further about Mahesh Babu, the star director said that he is definitely planning a hat-trick film with Mahesh. “There will be a lot of expectations because Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu were successful. The hat-trick film will surely surpass the expectations. I’m planning something big with Mahesh this time around.” Siva Koratala said.
Mahesh Babu and Siva Koratala collaborated films Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu were hugely appreciated by the audiences and critics alike as the films portrayed a new concept. Currently, Mahesh is enjoying the success of his last release Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was a huge hit at the box office. While, Siva Koratla is working on a film titled Acharya starring Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in the main lead roles and the shooting of the film is put on halt for now due to the nationwide lockdown.
